Both. The hardware is pre-installed for wall mounting, and it can be stood on a shelf or desk.
Can it hang more than one way?
Yes. The mounting hardware supports three orientations, so you can pick the one that fits the wall.
Is the front glass?
No — each opening is covered by shatterproof acrylic. It is clear, light, and will not break if it is knocked off the wall.
What is it made of?
Durable MDF board, finished in black, white or natural.
Is the guitar shape licensed from a guitar brand?

Is this the same as the 4x6 frame?
No. This is the larger multi-photo frame and holds four pictures. The single-photo frame is a different product in solid pine.
