Frequently asked
Shipping, returns and the products themselves.
The products
Are the bamboo utensils dishwasher safe?
No. Hand wash with mild soap and warm water. Dishwasher heat and long soaking dry out bamboo and eventually split it.
Will the utensils scratch non-stick pans?
No. The bamboo is polished smooth and is safe on non-stick, cast iron and stainless steel.
Has the bamboo been tested for chemicals?
Yes, for formaldehyde. Our manufacturer had the bamboo in the utensil set tested by DEKRA against the European food-contact standard — Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and the German LFGB, Sections 30 and 31 — and formaldehyde migration was not detected in any of the three test conditions, against a limit of 15 mg/kg. Full detail on the product safety page.
What size photo does the picture frame take?
One standard 4×6″ photo (10 × 15 cm), portrait orientation. No trimming needed.
How much weight do the headstock hooks hold?
Up to 20 lbs each, using the included flush-mount bracket.
Is the microphone utensil a real microphone?
No. The shape is decorative and there are no electronics in it. It is a working, food-safe utensil.

Inspect your order when it arrives and contact us immediately if anything is defective, damaged or wrong, so we can evaluate it and make it right.
Can I exchange something?
The fastest route is to return the item you have and place a separate order for the one you want, once the return is accepted.
